Photography has always been my passion. From an early age, I found joy in capturing the world around me – the little moments, the emotions, and the beauty that often goes unnoticed. My journey began with a simple camera and an eagerness to explore how light and perspective can transform a scene. Over time, that passion grew into a career focused on storytelling through the lens.
What sets my work apart is my ability to combine a laid-back, lifestyle approach with professional results. I offer baby-led sessions designed to keep your little ones comfortable, allowing for authentic moments to shine through in every shot.. My goal is to make every client feel seen and understood, turning personal moments into timeless images that evoke the emotions of the day, every time you look at them.

Hi! I’m Alexia — originally from France, now calling beautiful Ireland home, and forever chasing light, laughter, and plane tickets. My story started at 18 when I left home to travel the world. I settled in Australia for a few years, met my partner Gerry, and became a mama to our daughter Áine. When she was six months old, we felt the pull to be near family, packed up again, and moved to Ireland — and that’s where my photography journey truly began.
My two girls always were the spark. I wanted to capture every sleepy smile, every tiny detail — and soon I was completely hooked. I studied photography with an incredible teacher in Mullingar, and five years ago, I opened the doors to my beautiful little studio. It’s become my happy place — a space filled with warmth, connection, and (often) a little bit of chaos.
My style is all about storytelling. I photograph newborns, growing families, cake smashers, and real, unscripted moments that speak louder than words. I want you to remember how it felt, not just how it looked.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m either planning a spontaneous road trip (usually decided within an hour), avoiding laundry like it’s a sport, or cranking my music so loud I can’t hear my thoughts (highly therapeutic, if you ask me). I have a not-so-small collection of plants, a German Shepherd who thinks she’s a lapdog, and a heart that beats for new places, new languages and new cultures. I don’t splurge on fancy things — I save to see the world with my family, one country at a time.
Most of all, I understand deeply how precious these moments are because I’m capturing my own daughter’s story too. Photos are more than just pictures — they are memories frozen in time, emotions you can hold onto forever, and love you can see every day. That’s why I’m so passionate about creating images that will make your heart smile years from now.

As a newborn and motherhood photographer, my philosophy revolves around capturing the most tender, fleeting moments of your journey. I believe that these early stages—whether it’s the soft snuggles of a newborn, the quiet bond between mother and child, or the joy of a growing family—are some of the most precious memories to hold onto. My approach is gentle, natural, and deeply intuitive, focused on creating a safe, comfortable environment where you can be yourself.

Alexia took my maternity photos for both of my pregnancies and I wouldn't go anywhere else for family photos in the future! She is so professional and friendly from start to finish the experience was so enjoyable and the end result was magnificent.
We had our two year old with us for our latest shoot and she was amazing with him, we got fabulous photos and he had so much fun. Highly reccommend Alexia!

If I could give Alexia more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Such a talented lady! But what makes it even better is that she’s such a genuinely lovely person.
I had a shoot done with my daughter when she was 6 months old, the photos were amazing and I will treasure them forever. It was the first time since having my little girl that I looked at a photo of myself and actually felt pretty too.
